We have just taken delivery of these engraved tumblers, from Freya Charlton, the daughter of our Sales Engineer Tony.

IPS Glass

Freya is raising funds for a youth volunteer placement she has in Gambia in 2015, and we were delighted to help her by ordering the glasses.

As well as volunteering, Freya also has to fund the cost of her trip, so setting up her Glass Engraving business has given the fund a welcome boost.

Terry and Freya
Freya will be joining other volunteers to help refurbish school classrooms at the Gunjur Upper Basic School, assist in providing workshops in emergency first aid, distribute clothing  to the most in need in the community, and participate in a “Fun Day” for the many orphans in the area.

The trip is organized by registered charity, The Youth Box Project in Sunderland, www.theboxyouthproject.co.uk, and is scheduled to take place in October 2015.

Freya’s Glass Engraving enterprise will also assist her as she works towards a Platinum Youth Achievement Award.

We wish her well in her endeavours and look forward to hearing about her trip next year.
