Paul is our Business Development Manager for the North West of England.

1. How long have you worked for IPS?

I've been working for IPS for just gone five and a half years now.

2. What do you enjoy most about your job / role?

I like seeing different people in different places. I can be sat in a board room one call, then in the next, I can be in a work shop teaching the guys how to join materials.

3. What has been your biggest achievement (work or personal)?

Apart from the obvious - my kids’, I enjoy my job and the team that surround me are truly great.

On a personal level, I’m a football coach and look after 44 kids at Under 10’s.

I also work with a woman’s football team which has just started. This is all done at my local club, Marple Athletic. In total, we have over 400 kids signed on across so many different age groups. My role at Marple has recently changed and not only do I look after and train the kids at Under 10, I am now the head coach so oversee 40+ coaches to make sure they are confident in what they need to do to help the kids progress and enjoy their football.

4. What are your interests away from work?

The kids football takes up quite a bit of my time so most of my weekends have something to do with the various teams. When I’m not doing this, I like taking my dog for a family walk around the surrounding countryside routes.

5. If you could do another job for one day what would it be?

I think it goes without saying that I would like to manage a football team. A big football team, Real Madrid. Probably because the training or matches would hopefully be in a hotter place than this country.
