Progress of RM PressFit
Our RM Pressfit system continues to gain market share, and we are delighted with progress to date.
Particularly pleasing was the completion of a project for a waste water treatment facility in Ireland, which had a large requirement for InoxPres (Stainless Steel 316L) from 22mm Diameter to 108mm for both waste water and BioGas applications.
For the Waste water we were able to supply InoxPres 316L Stainless with standard Black EPDM seal rings for temperatures from -20°C to +120°C at a max pressure of 16 Bar.
The BioGas had a number of chemicals and gases to contend with including Methane (CH4), Carbon Dioxide (CO2), Oxygen (O2), Carbon Monoxide (CO), Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S), Ethane, Hydrogen, Nitrogen, Siloxanes, Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons, Chloride and Fluoride. due to this we advised, with the help of our partners RM in Italy, FKM seal rings, again with InoxPres 316L Pressfit pipe and fittings. The system is offered with a 5 year manufacturers’ warranty covering pipe, fittings and the tightness of the joint. All the joints sized 22mm -54mm were pressed with the NovaPress ACO202, and the larger 76.1mm -108mm joints pressed with the NovaPress ACO202XL.
Prior to the start of the project we provided our Pressfit Installer Training on site, confirming that the system would be installed as per the manufacturers’ instructions, which ensured that we are able to offer the 5 Year Warranty.
