Help us beat Cancer!

On the 17th of June Paul Johnson, Caroline Riley, and Andrew Lamb pictured below, together with Caroline’s husband Chris, are taking part in the world’s greatest recreational bike ride in aid of  Bright Red,   www.brightred.org.uk a charity established to improve the lives and treatment of people who are dealing with blood cancer. Based at the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle, through patient care, research and education they are striving to beat illnesses such as leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma. The ride is in memory of Nicola Jacobs,  sister of Chris Riley, who sadly lost her battle to leukaemia at Christmas

Vatternrundan
The Vätternrundan, www.vatternrundan.se/en/ is truly an experience, 300 km around Lake Vättern in Sweden. Setting off from Motala on the shores of the lake, at 22.05 on Friday evening we hope to be back in Motala sometime on Saturday afternoon.

We would be grateful if you would consider sponsoring our group to help raise as much money for the very worthy cause.

Many thanks for your support – we’ll report on our experience, and times, next week.
